The history of flags is a scientific discipline in its own right. Vexillology is the exact term. Bearing this in mind please note that the following post reflects general thoughts and notes on the use of flags in the medieval period. It is not the result of vexillological research. The idea here, is a preliminary study with the aim of designing a flag for the historical archery group The Crooked Sticks.

Med ovenstående i mente er jeg enig i af det er en Gonfanon vi skal have gang i.
Flot gået, Rune ! Det lyder som en god ide med en Gofanon. Men hvem kan lave en sådanne ? En af gruppen, der har de evner eller… ?
